-
-
- 1. syntax:
-
- ex: copcryp3.exe
-
- no parameters
- (but you can run it from any path);
-
-
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
-
- 2. What can it do?
-
- Copcrypt 3 can update any copcard with new codes (if you got
- the issuerkey).
- You can also write and read eeprom using the printer port on your
- PC computer.
- You can edit any eeprom (2k size)
-
-
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
-
- 3. How does it do that?
-
- If you don't know how a copcard works then you should read the
- excellent docs about copcards by John MacDonald.
- To update a card you need a issuerkey for that card, these
- issuerkeys are the keys that are used to encrypt to sat codes with.
- The decrypt/encrypt a sat code you therefore need your cards
- issuerkey.
-
- If you got your cards issuerkey then you should enter it at the
- end of the file COPCRYPT.DES, you will understand how when you
- open COPCRYPT.DES (this can be done in your favorite asci editor
- like MS-DOS EDIT.COM)
-
-
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
-
- 4. I don't have the issuerkey
-
- Well, if you don't have your cards issuerkey maybe someone else have
- it. I you can't find it, mail over the file to us and we will try
- to update it for you, for the very low amount of nothing
- Read out the eeprom and mail it to this address:
- probeteam@bigfoot.com
-
-
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
-
- 5. How to upgrade your card
-
- If you know the issuerkey and have typed it in COPCRYPT.DES then
- you are ready to go. Run copcrypt 3 and press the F5 button
- select the file or read the eeprom direct, if you now have
- a series 2,3 or 4 card (30B not included) the codes will be updated
- direct on the screen, the only thing you need to be sure about is
- that you have the latest key file "COPCRYPT.KEY". This file is also
- a asci text file and you can easy enter the new codes there when
- you are in need for that.
-
- You will allways be able to download the latest key file from our
- site: http://www.eurosat.com/probeteam
-
- When the upgrade function is done you have to save your file,
- this should be done only if you can se the new codes.
- (there is no need for encryption or conversion by you, this is done
- automatic by copcrypt)
-
- Just press F2 to save the file and your done.
